Transition Tips

In kids triathlon because the races are fairly short the two transitions are very important. Here are some tips to get you through transition as quickly as possible:

1. Use lock laces.

2. Rub your feet while getting your bike helmet on.

3. Take your goggles and swim cap off while running (or walking in some cases) to the transition area.

4. Get special socks or just don't wear socks

5. Remember where you are in transition.

6. Practice your transition set up.
