Arlington Youth Triathlon - Race Recap

The Arlington Youth Triathlon was a new race for DKTC this year and we had 8 athletes compete. Although rain was in the forecast for race day all week, it held off race morning which was a pleasant surprise given how much rain DC has had recently.

Of the 8 DKTC athletes competing it was the 1st triathlon for 3 of the team members. Every team member competed hard and we turned in some great times including a 3rd place finish in the girls 13-15 division for one of the first time triathletes.

We also had a great showing of parents and relatives so our cheers and cowbells could be heard all over the course.
